Type 7 coalcutter cable suitable for use in mines and quarries
Conductors: Tinned annealed flexible copper
Insulation: MEPR (Modified ethylene propylene ruber)
Core identification: Power cores: Red, yellow & brown, Pilot core: Blue, Earth core: Bare
Screen: ITCNB (Individual tinned copper nylon braid), only the three power cores are screened
Sheath/Jacket: PCP (Polychloroprene) more commonly known as OFR (Oil resistant & flame retardent)
Colour: Black
Voltage: 640/1100v
Operating temperature: Maximum 85°C, Minimum bending -20°C
Standards: BS6708: flexible cables for use at mines and quarries
