Application: For transmission of analogue and digital signals in instrument and control systems, allowed for use in zone 1 and zone 2 group ii classified areas (IEC 60079-14). Not allowed for direct connection to low impedance source e.g. the public mains electricity supply.

Conductor: Plain annealed copper sizes 0.5mm², 0.75mm², 1.0mm², 1.3mm², 1.5mm², 2.5mm² IEC 60228 class 1, 2 or 5.

Insulation: PE

Colour code: Black / White numbered for multi-pairs

Collective screen: 24µ aluminium / PETP tape over 7 stranded tinned copper drain wire, 0.5mm²

Inner sheath: PVC

Armouring: Galvanised steel wire armour

Outer sheath: PVC

Min bending radius: 10 x cable OD

Standards: EN50288-7:2005 Multi-element metallic cablesused in analogue and digital communication and control. Part 7 - sectional specification for instrumentation and control cables. Flame retardant to IEC60332-3, Oil resistant to ICEA S-82-552, UV resistant toUL 1581. This cable type is suitable for use in Zone 1and Zone 2 only when installed with the correct ATEX ApprovedAccessories/Equipment
