FireTuf Plus enhanced sheath

Firetuf plus cable meets the enhanced requirements of BS5839 providing advanced resistance to fire & heat and is therefore suitable as fire alarm cable 

Conductors: Plain annealed solid copper to BSEN60228 and IEC60228 (up to 2.5sqmm) or stranded copper (4.0sqmm and above)

Enhanced Insulation: SIF (Silicone insulated rubber) to BS7655 section 1.1, type E12

Enhanced Binder: Close weave glass tape to BS EN 61067

Core identification: 2 Core: Blue & brown, 3 core: Blue, brown & grey, 4 core: Black, Blue, brown & grey

Enhanced Electrostatic Screen: Aluminium/polyester laminated tape 

Enhanced Sheath/Jacket: Thermoplastic zero halogen, low smoke (OHLS) compound

Colour: Red or white

Voltage: 300/500v

Operating temperature: Maximum 90°C, minimum bending -40°C
