Firetuf, CWZ fire resistant cable to BS6387, IEC60331 & IEC60332 

Conductors: Plain annealed solid copper (1.0sqmm & 1.5sqmm) or stranded copper (2.5sqmm & 4.0sqmm)

Insulation: SIF (Silicone insulated rubber)

Core identification: 2 Core: Blue & brown, 3 core: Black, brown & grey, 4 core: Black, Blue, brown & grey, 7 core and above: numbered cores. All of the above have a bare CPC (Circuit protective core)

Fire barrier: MGT (Mica glass tape) wrap

Screen: CAM (Collective aluminium mylar)

Sheath/Jacket: LSZH (Low smoke zero halogen)

Colour: Red or white

Voltage: 300/500v

Operating temperature: Maximum 90°C, minimum bending -40°C

Standards:

Fire Resistance BS6387 Cat C: 950 deg C for 3 hours
Cat W: 650deg C with water for 15mins
Cat Z: 950 deg C with mechanical shock for 15 mins
IEC60331: 750 deg C for 3 hours
Flame Propagation BS EN 50266:2001 part 1 and 3, IEC60332-1, IEC60332-3 cat C
Smoke Emission BS6724/IEC 1034:AoBS EN 61034-1:2005: *LT>90% light transmittance
Corrosive Acid Gas BS EN 50267-2-4:1999 Nil, IEC 754-1 all materials are halogen free
